The government launched the ‘Super Village’ development project in 2020. Relevant Development Officers performed a great duty beyond 08 hours of duty to complete the implementation of development projects worth Rs. 2 million on 31.12.2020.
However, the Development Officers’ Service Union has objected to the non-payment of holiday pay to development officers who have been involved in development projects in a super village so far.
The union has sent a letter to the Secretary to the Ministry of Home Affairs requesting that action be taken to provide the allowances.
