It is learned that two more cabinet ministers Vasudeva Nanayakkara and CB Ratnayake have decided to resign from their posts today (04) in protest of the removal of Ministers Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila from the Cabinet.
Although Water Supply and Drainage Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara resigned from the Cabinet in protest of the removal of the two Ministers , Sources close to Minister CB Ratnayake say that he is leaving the cabinet reshuffle due to the frustration caused by the lack of a good ministry.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Pohottu is raising his voice against Minister of State Vidura Wickremanayake and Parliamentarian Primanath C. Dolawatta who participated in the ‘Rata Hari Magata’ conference. Accordingly, it is reported that State Minister Vidura Wickremanayake could also lose his ministry.
