It is reported that most of the parliamentarians of 11 minority parties including the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will sit in the Opposition this evening (23) when the Land Bill will be debated.
It is learned that a discussion will be held between the President and the SLFP Parliamentary Group this morning and according to the issues to be discussed there, the SLFP Leading Group will join the Opposition in the evening.
Meanwhile, expressing his views at a media briefing held yesterday (22), former Minister Wimal Weerawansa stated that a special decision will be taken in Parliament today.
