The Speaker has received the decision of the Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the Port City Bill, where the Supreme Court has ruled that certain provisions of the Bill are unconstitutional and that some of the provisions of Parliament should be in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. 2/3 must be approved not only by a special majority but also by a referendum.
However, in this decision, the Supreme Court has moved amendments to the above unconstitutional provisions and states that a referendum is not required if the amendments are passed accordingly.
