Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella says that investigations have been expedited to find the full source of the Easter attack.

Speaking at a media briefing held at Sirimalwatta in Kandy today (07), the Minister said that the report of the Presidential Commission on the Easter Attack has been submitted to the Attorney General’s Department.

The Seva Piyasa and the Multipurpose Building constructed at a cost of Rs. 18 lakhs by the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha were vested in the public under the patronage of the Minister.

He further stated that a date has been set for a parliamentary debate on the report of the Presidential Commission on the Easter Attack.

Heads of state at the time did not take responsibility for the Easter attack and spoke lightly about it.

Celebrating Black Sunday in a democratic country is not a crisis, but it is ridiculous that those who did not come forward to prevent the attack and punish the perpetrators point fingers at the current government.

Some crimes can be uncovered in as little as two days, but it can take years for security forces to uncover a complex case.

Minister of Mass Media and Information Keheliya Rambukwella stated that the Minister in charge of the subject will reveal the details of the discussions held with the Minister regarding the handing over of the Port West Terminal to Adani Company of India.
