The Sri Lanka Ports Authority has issued an Extraordinary Gazette Notification making all the services required to be performed in this regard as an essential service under the Essential Public Services Act No. 61 of 1979.
The relevant gazette notification has been issued by the Secretary to the President P.B Dissanayake on the instructions of the President Gotabaya Rajapakse.
