School resumption is an exposure of a risk group to society!

We must not forget that school resumption is an exposure to society of a risk group related to coronavirus. As children begin to go to school, they join the society that they have never encountered in society and through it many sections of the society become active.

We therefore urge the Ministry of Health to conduct a more scientific review of the information that we have uncovered during the random investigation process over the past month.

During the random investigation into the exit from the Western Provincial Council, about 11,000 tests were carried out and about 100 infected people were identified. Studying it statistically, it can be observed that about 200 infected people move to other provinces outside the Western Province every day.

Also, every randomized screening from time to time during the past month has been able to randomly identify infected patients. A careful examination of the data confirms that the disease is randomly transmitted to citizens of the country who have no symptoms and no knowledge of the disease. It is extremely dangerous to presume that the outlying areas are safer than the Western Province, as there is a risk of corona ponds forming throughout the island by such infected people.

At the same time, we must not forget that the responsibility for providing security for a school rests with the principals and staff of each school, and that the government’s decision to reopen schools does not make teachers and principals feel safe. It should not be forgotten that the responsibility of informing the Ministry of Education in this regard lies with the relevant teaching staff.

As the reality is that the Ministry of Health does not have the capacity to check the health conditions of all schools in the country, it is inevitable that the supervision of health services will be delegated to teachers.

Parents and school authorities must have the right assurance that their parents will enroll their children in a school, rather than trusting the government or the Ministry of Health or any other party, but trusting the teachers and the school.

If not, we may go to great lengths to implement the decision to start a school, dragging the children into unnecessary exposure and trying to shift the responsibility to another party.
