Ven. Murutthettuwe Ananda Thera has requested the Minister of Health to immediately transfer the Government Medical Officers (GMOs) to hospitals within the next 72 hours.
Thero said that there are no doctors to work in hospitals today but the number of doctors in the ministry is being filled and that only the doctors who administer the ministry should be retained in the ministry and steps should be taken to remove other doctors from the ministry immediately.
warns that if it is not listened to, a representative of each of these unions should be appointed to the ministry or it will be a problem to health in the future
