Parliamentarian Athuraliye Rathana Thera says that vaccination should not be made compulsory as there is a question as to whether vaccination is the only answer to the virus.
He says the Indigenous Medical Treatment Center should be combined with the Western Medical Treatment Center to combat the corona virus.
He said that the Indigenous Medical Center would be able to develop the body’s immune system to fight against the virus, adding that the Indigenous Medicine and Alternative Medicine should be given the opportunity to do so.
He says that those who have received both injections have died and that no matter how serious the disease is, our immune system has the potential to heal and those with weakened immune systems die.
Vaccination is in good condition but is there any consensus among doctors about this vaccine? Athuraliye Rathana Thera says that there is a controversy regarding the vaccines given in Sri Lanka.
Therefore, vaccination should not be made compulsory, he added. He said this in Parliament.
