Marcus Priyantha Perera of the Cooperation Movement for True Justice says that peace cannot be achieved without justice.
He says that 30 months have passed since the Easter attack but the victims of the Easter attack have not yet received justice.
The Easter attack killed 269 people and injured more than 400 others. The highest number of casualties was in Negombo.
Mr. Priyantha says that justice should be done for all these people. He emphasizes that doing justice means finding the truth.
He also points out that all the details of the committee appointed to investigate into the Easter attack have not been made public so far and
he emphasizes that the identity of the ‘Sonic’ who had links with Saharan should be revealed.
Mr. Priyantha was speaking during a protest rally demanding justice for the Easter attack on a London street.
