Number of COVID-19 patients reported from prisons has exceeded 2,000 stated by Department of Prisons.
The total number of COVID-19 infected persons identified from persons has risen to 2,051. It is reported that 91 prison officers are also among them.
According to the Department of Prisons, 38 prisons officers and 562 inmates have made a full recovery.
