The IGP has been asked to launch a police investigation into the weekend Aruna newspaper by Secretary to the President P. B. Jayasundera.
On the weekend of October 24, the Aruna newspaper reported that Secretary to the President PB Jayasundara had pressured the government to credit Rs.290 million to a personal account for importing Indian fertilizer.
Accordingly, the Secretary to the President has informed the IGP to launch a comprehensive investigation into the news.
The Secretary to the President has requested that all parties be summoned for this investigation as this news is untrue.
