The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs says that the due to the Covid 19 virus has limited the number of people who can attend all prayers to all mosques.
Wakuf Council has taken this decision considering the health condition of the entire population of the country, said the Director of the Department A.B.M.Ashraf.
He said that steps have been taken to make all churches aware of this and that religious services will not be held in churches in areas where curfew is in place.
He further said that it has been made mandatory for the devotees who visit the mosques for religious activities to follow the health instructions.
In this regard, the Ministry of Buddhasasana and Religious and Cultural Affairs states that their decision should be rewarded.
