Harin Manusha goes to Geneva to seek Justice for Ranjan

MPs Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara go to the Geneva Human Rights Council to seek the release of Ranjan Ramanayake, an unjustly imprisoned former parliamentarian.

Manusha Nanayakkara said that we have to go to the international arena to demand the release of Ranjan Ramanayake and that they should go to Geneva as there is no definite punishment for Contempt of Court. He also stated that Ranjan Ramanaka has been given political punishment.

These days the Human Rights Sessions are being held in Geneva. Sri Lanka will also be discussed. It is about peace, reconciliation and accountability. It is also learned that a complaint has been lodged with Geneva regarding the Easter attack.
