Expert medical warning about pregnant mothers!

The Sri Lanka Institute of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has highlighted the need to vaccinate pregnant mothers, highlighting the importance of protecting pregnant mothers from the new strain of the virus that is currently spreading in Sri Lanka.

The agency says pregnant mothers have also been identified as a group at risk of contracting the Covid 19 virus, which is currently spreading.

“If pregnant mothers are exposed to the virus, they will have a problem caring for them. Therefore, expectant mothers should be extremely careful at this time. If not, it will be a very tragic fate. ”

A press release issued on Wednesday (April 28) by Dr. Pradeep de Silva, President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, further stated that three pregnant mothers who were infected with the virus are still being treated in intensive care units.

The specialist further points out that the covid 19 virus can be dangerous to pregnant women working in both the public and private sectors.

The first causes common complications and physical conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

He points out that the second risk factor for the spread of the disease is the use of public transportation by pregnant women for direct employment with the public and in places where there are more employees.

The Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology has emphasized that vaccines for the control of the Kovid 19 virus should be given to pregnant women.

The British Royal Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology also recommends vaccination of at-risk pregnant women. ”

Therefore, the Sri Lanka Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology also “presumes” that pregnant mothers should be vaccinated.

Dr. Pradeep de Silva, President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, says that it has been scientifically proven that the vaccine does not harm the fetus.

The specialist points out that it is also important to provide another place for a pregnant woman to be tested after being admitted to a hospital, or that normal patients may be at risk of contracting the virus.
