Nine people have died of corona infection yesterday (21), the Government Information Department reported. It was reported to be the highest number of deaths reported in a single day. Accordingly, the number of corona infected deaths reported from Sri Lanka has risen to 83.
As of September 30, there were 13 corona deaths in Sri Lanka. But today the number of arrivals has risen to 83. In the last 22 days, 70 deaths have been reported due to the corona virus.
Also, as of yesterday, 1,376,856 patients were died across the world. Yesterday alone, 11,135 deaths were reported. It is also the highest number of deaths per day ever recorded, with the highest number being reported from the United States. It was 1998 and the previous day was 2064.
