Global number of corona patients declining

Globally, the number of Covid virus patients has dropped by 19% in the past week, according to new data from the World Health Organization. But the death toll remains stable.

The United Nations Health Organization (WHO) says in its latest weekly report on the epidemic that there have been 16 million cases of Kovid 19 cases and 75,000 deaths worldwide in the past week.

However, health reports show a weekly increase in the number of patients in the Western Pacific, and a 37% decrease in patients in Southeast Asia. It is the biggest drop globally.

Covid deaths have increased by 38% in the Middle East and some in the Western Pacific.

According to these data, a higher percentage of people infected with the Omicron variant have been reported in Russia. In some parts of Europe, this virus has become more prevalent.

Other variants that caused the covid epidemic, such as alpha, beta, and delta, have declined globally.

Health organizations report that almost all reported cases are now infected with the omicron variant.

The United Kingdom, South Africa and Denmark also reported an increase in the number of subspecies of omicron.

However, the World Health Organization (WHO) says that in countries with high vaccinations, the incidence of the disease as well as the mortality rate have dropped dramatically.
