Saman Ratnapriya, President of the Government Nurses’ Association, has warned that the number of vaccines imported from India is not enough to prevent Sri Lankans from contracting coronavirus.
The President of the Government Nurses’ Association points out that the World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended that 20 percent of the population in a country be vaccinated within a short period of time.
500,000 doses of the Asca Senica corona vaccine manufactured in India were recently imported to Sri Lanka.
