Corona Death burial is delayed until a deserted island is found…

The government allowed the burial of Muslims who died of the corona virus infection, but a spokesman for the Ministry of Health said it would take another week to process.

He has stated that the gazette notification that the bodies would be allowed to be buried was published on the night of the 25th but the relevant conditions and regulations have not been prescribed yet.

According to reports, the government intends not to bury the dead in ordinary cemeteries. A deserted island suitable for burial is being sought and several such islands are currently under further investigation.

It is reported that a team has been appointed to identify an island and they are investigating the islands and their water levels. This is due to the scientific reasons given by the committee above that the burial ground should be above the ground water level.

As the Ministry is currently working on this, the guidelines on burial will be delayed until the completion of the work, Ministry of Health sources said.
It is hoped that a safe system will be put in place to bury the bodies on an island in another province, and the costs of transportation, special clothing, body containers, labor costs, etc. will be significantly higher than cremation and will be borne by the parties involved.
