A complaint has been lodged with the CID against a senior government official for allegedly withholding information from the public about food and drink containing carcinogens unfit for human consumption.
Sudesh Nandimal Silva, the convener of the Jana Bala Wall Civil Organization has filed a complaint seeking legal action against the Director General of the Sri Lanka Standards Institution for approving the poisoning of the public for a short period of time through a private television channel.
