Anura’s words are words that matters.

Anura’s words are words that matters.

JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake made a very important revelation to the country in Parliament on December 10. You know that ‘Rate Rala’ does not agree with the politics of the JVP in any way. Even if someone from that dissenting political camp does something right, the ‘Rata Rala’ does not think twice to appreciate it.
Anura tabled yesterday the fraudulent agreement that was formed between the government and the relevant company when the 40% stake in the Yugadanaw power plant was transferred to an American company. It’s really a fraudulent agreement. A fraudulent agreement. Basil, the Minister of Finance, was repeatedly accused of failing to obtain formal cabinet approval in signing the agreement. That accusation is not unique to Basil. It applies to the President as the head of the cabinet and to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa as the head of the government. The government minority party alliance sent a letter to the President requesting a discussion regarding this agreement. Not only was a letter sent there saying that the President could not be given time, but the minority party alliance had also informed in writing that what it was saying about the Yugadanav agreement was a lie.

Now the truth has come out. Therefore, the President, the Prime Minister and Basil Rajapaksa trio should take responsibility for this fraudulent agreement.

Government cabinet ministers Vasu, Wimal and Gammanpila continued to say that they were not shown the agreement. However, other ministers in the government said that cabinet approval was obtained for it. Basil and Mahinda explained the Yugadanavi agreement to the minority parties in the government from time to time. But he never showed them the agreement. But yesterday Anura proved one thing. He pointed out that the document that was duly approved by the Cabinet was a forgery. Thanks to JVP leader Anura Kumara for that. When Anura tabled the agreement yesterday, no one from the government said that Anura had a forged document in his hand. Because no one in that cabinet can say that.

None of those babies saw the relevant agreement. So how can you say no to an unseen agreement? In fact, they approved of something they did not see. That is why Anura said that even the cabinet ministers requested the agreement from him. In fact, if you have seen that agreement, you have seen the Rajapaksa trio and only two or three of their obedient secretaries. Anura’s tabled letter proved that this Cabinet is politically impotent.

Cabinet approval has been given to a company called New Fortress Energy in the United States to give 40% of the government owned shares in the Yugadanav power plant. However, the agreement was signed with N.F.C Sri Lanka Power Holdings. That means it should be a holding company affiliated to New fortress energy. The company also has a registered American address.

Blatantly lying to the cabinet. If there are no babies in the cabinet now, if there are no bedridden, dumb and bureaucrats in the cabinet, if there are no political eunuchs, then we need to ask that question. Ask the President, ask the Prime Minister, ask Basil. Remember, if there are people’s representatives who have the backbone of the parliament in this country, then Basil, who has the same breach of trust, should be ousted from the ministry of finance through a no-confidence motion.

Next, Article 13 (1) of the agreement states that the country cannot disclose the facts of the agreement to the people regarding the agreement until both parties agree. In fact, it is an agreement that is hidden from the public. A fraudulent agreement with an American company affiliate that they want. An agreement to betray the motherland in agreement with all the agreements of the American company.

It also states that from here on out, only agreements with the relevant companies will be signed. In fact, Anura proved above that the cabinet of this country is politically impotent. By tabling this agreement and quoting these facts, Anura proved something more special. That is the President of this country who came to power with a mandate of 69 lakhs and the Prime Minister of this country who came to power with a similar mandate, that is, both fathers are just two puppets dancing to the tune of foreign companies. Basil is not the only one who is really being blamed here. He is not responsible for this mandate. He’s just an American citizen who robbed us of our mandate. So he is really responsible to the people of his country. For that, Sri Lankans are robbing us of our absolute right.

He is, in fact, an honest American citizen who works for his country. The President, the Prime Minister and all the idiots who raised their hands to the 20th Amendment to get a Finance Minister like this. But Basil is a Rajapaksa. Therefore, the President and the Prime Minister must have done that work for the brotherhood. In that sense, those who raised their hand to 20 and took Basil in are idiots.

Really think if this problem happened in another country. Not much if it happened in our neighboring India. So even now those people have taken to the streets and chased away the Finance Minister. We are such a timid nation. ‘Rate Rala’ asks you one thing. Asked to sit on patriotism while looking at these. Then you can comfort yourself by thinking about where patriotism is.
